Missed Assessment Session
Each NHS assessment session is 50 minutes in duration. The NHS does not guarantee to make a decision on your case within any set number of weeks; however, typically, this would be between 8 and 12 weeks

If you cancel the assessment session with less than 48 hours notice of the appointment time, or if you are not available for the session at the agreed time, the free assessment session will no longer be available. A charge of £30 will be payable if you wish to schedule another assessment session.
Session Length
When
Sessions will take place at the agreed time and date pre-arranged between the Counsellor and you.
Drug/Alcohol Use
You will abstain from using any non-prescribed drugs and alcohol on the day of the scheduled counselling appointment. The counsellor reserves the right to end the session if you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol on the day of the session.
NHS Application Confidentiality

DisabilityPlus will use all information collected from assessment session and the questionnaires you have completed to make a NHS application for free funding for you. This information will be sent to your GP in a professional document, the GP will then send your information to a funding panel.
